| Custom-Bilt
Metals was incorporated in 1974 in
response to the need for a
distributor of rainware products
to the seamless gutter industry in
Southern California. After four
short years, we realized that
other markets on the West Coast
would react favorably to a
philosophy of quality and service.
Our first expansion was to
Seattle, then to Northern
California. Portland and Phoenix
soon followed. As we matured, we
added Standing Seam metal roofing
to our product line, employing the
same concept of onsite roll
forming that brought the gutter
industry the success it enjoys
today. At that time, we
established our position with the
highest quality products and
unequalled service. In 1990, we
recognized the need to distribute
multiple profiles in the metal
roofing, shingle and shake
industry. Our latest expansions
include Spokane in 1994, and
Honolulu in 1996. |

| |
| Since
its founding in 1973, UNA-CLAD has
become an industry leader in the
manufacturing of architectural
metal products. In the late
1970's, UNA-CLAD expanded its
scope from distributing copper, to
focusing on the emerging industry
of architectural metal building
products. In keeping with our
priorities of customer
satisfaction and top-quality
products, we have continued to
expand our product line to meet
industry demand throughout the
years. |

| CopperCraft
manufactures a complete line of
architectural sheetmetal products
and distributes nationwide and
around the world from its 35,000
SF manufacturing facility in
Keller, Texas. CopperCraft was
established in 1989 with the goal
of preserving the high quality and
craftsmanship found in old world
metalworking while enhancing
techniques with computerized
layout, cutting and forming. This
insures quality, consistency and
competitive pricing. CopperCraft
continues to educate and pass down
old world skills to employees so
there will continue to be an
industry wide source for even the
most specialized of materials. |

of the National Roofing
Contractors Association, The
Construction Specification
Institute, Metal Construction
Association, Metal Roofing
Alliances and the Metal
Initiative. |
 |
| |
| The
Metal Initiative is a coalition of
manufacturers, individuals and
associations that have come
together to provide information on
the features and benefits of metal
in construction. Carrying its
message of metal primarily to the
professional building owner
community, The Metal Initiative
seeks to gather and disseminate
useful information for
decision-makers.
Virtually
all facets of metal in
construction are addressed to meet
the varied needs of the owner and
the building team, including
return on investment, maintenance
cost, life cycle cost,
environmental impact,
recyclability, recycled content,
cool roofing, useful life and
aesthetics.
The
Metal Initiative also seeks to
dispel myths that have permeated
the construction community
regarding the use of metal. These
myths which have grown over time
have kept many owners from
realizing the full benefits that
will accrue when they chose metal
for their projects.

MBMA
was founded in 1956 by a group of
companies that developed an
innovative way of designing,
manufacturing and marketing
buildings. Since its inception,
MBMA has been instrumental in
defining and promoting the common
interests of metal building
systems manufacturers. MBMA has
also provided engineering
leadership through the many
research programs we sponsor. This
research is used by the MBMA
members to improve the efficiency
and quality of metal building
systems, and to elevate the
state-of-the-art technology used
to produce them.
Metal
building systems are used in
almost every conceivable
application. You will find them in
industrial applications such as
complex production facilities,
warehouses and distribution
centers. They are used in retail
stores, shopping centers, motels,
automobile dealerships, office
complexes, airplane hangars and
arenas. They are also used in
schools, libraries, churches,
medical facilities and government
buildings.
